FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The Powassan Maple Syrup Festival Committee is inviting interested Food Vendors (both “Not for Profit” and “For Profit”) to apply to participate in the upcoming Festival on Saturday, April 25, 2020.
The Festival runs from 9 am to 4 pm and Food vendors are expected to be on site during this period to provide food items for the 10,000-15,000 festival attendees. Vendors who leave early will not be permitted to attend next year.
Applications, payment AND approved Health Unit letters/forms must all be submitted together to: Powassan Maple Syrup Festival, Box 250, Powassan, ON P0H 1Z0 – by February 28, 2020.
Not for Profit Vendors may have one (1) 10x10 spot and will be charged 10% of their gross revenue, or $250.00, whichever is highest.
For Profit Vendors Rates follow:
One (1) 10’x10’ spot - $200.00
Two (2) adjacent 10’x10’ spots - $250.00,
or Three (3) adjacent 10’xx0’ spots - $300.00
This year Food Vendors will be situated on Main Street, amongst all other Vendors – Setup time begins at 6 am on Saturday.
There is no hydro available on Main Street but generators will be permitted, subject to noise restrictions. Barbeques and other cooking equipment are permitted.
Vendors are responsible for their own insurance, must provide their own garbage containers and must remove all garbage at the end of the day. All Food Vendors must also have a copy of their Health Unit Approval form/letter visible on-site the day of the festival.
NEW – Cancellation Policy - Vendors who cancel before the end of February deadline for receipt of applications will be reimbursed half of their fee. Vendors who cancel after the end of February deadline will not receive a refund of any portion of their Vendor Fee.
